Partnering with a Content Writer for your Podcast

Author: Dayana Preval

Are you a podcaster who likes to record episodes, edit them, and call it a day? You don’t enjoy all the extra tasks that come along like marketing, writing content, etc.? I understand entirely. There are many parts to be a podcaster, and a lot of that focuses on sharing your message and attracting the right audience through social media, your website, and the writing you use to lure them in. I learned this quickly since I am a writer first and now a podcaster. I realized that my audio voice is just as important as my writing voice. If writing isn’t your thing, it doesn’t hurt to hire a content writer.

Have you thought about hiring or partnering with a content writer to help your podcast brand and overall stress? It’s an excellent investment so that you can focus on the podcast content and overall brand. As a content writer, my job is to create a picture for your audience through words. If you’re a little iffy about hiring a writer full time, consider part-time. Allow the writer to pivot your message on your website, social media captions, and even newsletters. Give it a few months (90 days) to see if there’s an increase in downloads and engagement on social media. It can get overwhelming trying to be the voice on every platform and your episodes. Hiring a writer is also beneficial because we offer an outside perspective. Since we have to get your audience and your vibe, we can help enhance that message through words.

Maybe you’re not financially ready to hire a writer. Consider partnering with a content writer where you can trade services or perhaps promote their services on your platform. Be transparent and build a happy medium for you both. I get it. We’re in hard times, but we all have to eat somehow. It doesn’t hurt to promote your writer to help them with their clientele and business. This way, everybody benefits.

If you’re looking for a content writer, I am happy to offer my services to ease your podcasting process. Or if you have any questions about partnering with a writer, please feel free to reach out to me my website
