One of the essential parts of creating your podcast is figuring out where your podcast will live, aka your podcast host. A Podcast Host is where you can upload your episodes, write show notes, review data, and more. Honestly, picking a host for your podcast is so important! This is how your content gets distributed to the world. It's just as crucial as developing content for your podcast. I've been using Buzzsprout for over a year, and so far, I have no complaints. Keep reading to learn about my experience with Buzzsprout.

When I first started my podcast, I wasn't even aware that having a podcast host was something I would need. I had learned about mics, editing audio, and converting it to mp3. I thought I was all set! I remember trying to upload my final revised podcast episode, but I was stuck. As I researched the internet, Buzzsprout was one of the first podcast hosts to pop up for me. I was attracted to Buzzsprout because it was easy to follow. As a newbie, a step to step process was a must for me.

Buzzsprout's platform walked me through everything, and the instructions were clear. I had to get an RSS Feed and submit my podcast to Apple, Google Play, and Spotify. Buzzsprout made it easy to do all of this in one space. I love that I can see precisely in what part of the world my podcast is reaching. Buzzsprout is a podcast host that wants you to succeed. Now and then, I will get emails on my progress and downloads. They send out weekly emails on how to make your podcast better through technology, best practices, monetizing, and even opportunities to connect with other podcasters.

Over the last year or so, Buzzsprout has been good to me. It's efficient, affordable, and straightforward. If you're looking for a home for your podcast, it's essential to consider what you want from your host. Personally, I know I was searching for convenience but also comprehension as a new podcaster in 2018. Now, as a seasoned podcaster, Buzzsprout still caters to my needs as I navigate ways to monetize, repurpose my content, and so much more.
